A Salute to Our Veterans

Remembering my maternal grandfather Wilbert McGee who was so shaky that he had to sit on his hands after arriving home from storming Normandy on D-Day and my paternal grandfather Bernard Heddings who died in the Pacific when my dad was 4. And all of those who have died, fought and served this country in both times of war and peace so that we may enjoy an unparalleled freedom!

A Veteran is someone, who at one point in their life, wrote a blank check payable to the United States of America for an amount up to, and including, their life. Regardless of personal political views, that is an honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer remember that fact.

We salute you!
